Through our own experiences in the fire and rescue service we have chosen the Hook & Ladder as a symbol of pride and honor to pay tribute to the brave men and women who serve and protect our communities.

Founded in March of 1999 by Rich Fleischer, a firefighter from Bethesda, Maryland, Hook & Ladder Brewing is located in Silver Spring, Maryland.

A Penny in Every Pint ^® donations are raised through the sale of draft packaged product. Hook & Ladder Brewing Company donates $2 per brewery barrel (31 gallons) sold to its distribution partners. Hook & Ladder Brewing Company highly encourages each of its distribution partners to match its donation; therefore, the total amount of money donated is $4 per brewery barrel from these sources.

A Quarter in Every Case ™ donations are raised through the sale of bottle and/or can packaged product. Hook & Ladder Brewing Company donates $0.125 per case (24, 12 ounce bottles or cans) of product sold to its distribution partners. Hook & Ladder Brewing Company highly encourages each of its distribution partners to match its donation; therefore, the total amount donated is $0.25 per case sold from these sources.
